4 Ways to Help

IMG_3776.JPEG
1. FUNDRAISE FOR OUR SHIPMENT OF SCHOOL MATERIALS

We thank the Flemisch schools who have donated us school furniture and educational materials. We are now looking for funds to transport these things to Kyirimankane.

It involves the transportation of a large container from Schoten to the harbour of Antwerp, then by boat to the harbour of Accra and finally by truck to the village, which lies far inland.

Because the transport involves a lot of handling and administration, the prices add up and the total price of the shipment will be around € 9000 !

You can help us realize the transport by donating. Use the button to do so.

We thank you !

2. HELP US GATHER MATERIALS FOR SHIPMENT

Materials that can be useful for us are :

  • educational materials such as : maps, educational materials related to sciences, musical instruments, sports materials and materials for artistic lessons. We can use everything from educational school materials from toddler to about 14 years. We mainly need maps for the wall (as our children have no geographical notion whatsoever), but also other materials such as atlases, models for biology lessons, materials used in other science lessons, materials for learning mathematics (volume measures, blackboard compasses, triangular board, abacus…. .)

  • Clothes and shoes for adults and children (no winter clothes)

  • (Modern) books in English

4. PARTNER UP WITH YOUR SCHOOL OR COMPANY

Start a sustainable collaboration with us so that we can create added value together, both in Flanders and in Ghana. We think of:

  • Flemish primary schools where we can set up interactive 'buddy' classes, develop creative projects 'together' (e.g. cross-border craft challenges) etc...

  • Flemish colleges that offer teacher training to their students. Here we can offer meaningful and interesting thesis topics as well as exchange projects

  • IT companies that can help us to roll out the ICT project (including providing software licenses, enabling digital meetings, etc.)

  • Companies that offer digital learning platforms (such as Bingel) to help us with knowledge and software packages

  • Marketing companies that want to help us publicize our project so that we can create wider support for our current and future projects

  • Logistics companies that can help us ship goods to Ghana.
